Dura-Line is searching for an experienced Shipping Supervisor Manager to join our Salt Lake City, Utah facility.
This is an exciting opportunity where you will be responsible for overseeing and managing daily operations such as scheduling, local vendor pricing, inventory, purchase orders and requisition creations, and shipping within the plant to maintain on-time deliveries of products to customers while minimizing inventory dollars and maximizing inventory accuracies.
This role will require a high level of organization, excellent communication, and coordination skills in a safe and effective manner to drive continuous improvement and ensure processes are implemented and followed.
To help you succeed, you need to bring your proven logistics skills and knowledge in the manufacturing industry, a degree in logistics or supply chain management or equivalent relevant work experience, and a proactive boots-on-the-ground mindset.
You need to be experienced in Microsoft products and ERP systems (SAP), to complete Monthly Operation Reports (MOR), data management & integrity, prepare and report operational KPIs and oversee inventory supply levels for continuous production.
We need a proactive leader to ensure cycle counts are complete and accurate inventory level.

Responsibilities:
Oversees and manages daily operations such as receiving, shipping, warehousing of Dura-Line accessoriesEnsure effective employee communications/relationsCoach staff, open communication, lead and influence the teamDaily meeting with cross department teamsBalance quality, safety, morale, productivity and cost to achieve positive results in all areasMaintaining key material inventory levelsImprove reel return process/programImplement 5SKPI:
Productivity, scrap percentage, labor utilization, On Time Delivery, OEE, Customer Complaints, TRIR, OSHA RecordablesPrepare and report operational KPIs, Review weekly inventory reportsDrive continuous improvementOversee inventory supply levels (on-hand and enroute) for continuous operationWork with CSRs on order management to meet customer delivery expectationsEnsure cycle counts are done and accurate inventory levels Inventory Control & Management will be the foundation of your position.
You will oversee and monitor the inventory & purchasing department, complete cycle counts, monitor stock levels & distribution supplies, work and build relationships with vendors, and complete the necessary weekly and monthly operation reporting.
Drive Continuous Improvement with your strong analytical and problem-solving skills within a Six Sigma Lean Manufacturing environment and can execute lean initiatives.

Teamwork Makes the Dream Work! You will be working daily with a skilled team within the plant as well as with a corporate team.
You will be working closely and managing with the Shipping & Receiving Department for delivery tracking, logistical issues, receiving process management, and investigating root cause analysis.
In addition, we are looking for someone that has worked in production/shipping for at least 5 years and grown into the role of a Materials Manager.
Expertise in this field will include implementing a visual Kanban system for raw material inventory, managing finished goods master schedule, initiating just-in-time programs, and coordinating purchasing and supplier activity with the productions schedule.
In conclusion, you will be empowered to bring your abilities and expertise to develop key programs, influence and develop a team, and collaborate with other peers to execute best practices.
