Job Description:
We are seeking a manufacturing production team lead to help manage a team of composite manufacturing specialists.
Responsibilities include keeping the production of our projects on schedule, keeping the project team productive, and helping our skilled specialist to understand the scope and requirements of each project.
Our ideal candidate is well-versed in the production manufacturing process.
You will oversee 3 to 5 employees in composite fabrication layup.

Responsibilities Organizing, motivating, supporting, and providing guidance to production staff.
Ensuring all safety and health standards are met to keep our organization accident-free.
Communicate regularly with management regarding problems or issues impacting production.
Evaluate staff and tool resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime.
Support and follow the instructions of the manufacturing supervisor.
Setting productivity goals for your fabrication team.
Developing workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality.
Shop cleanup and organization.
Requirements:
3
years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Spanish a plus! Ability to quickly understand and use our production traveler software.
Proficiency in computer software applications:
MS Word and MS Excel.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to train employees in safety and production.
Ability to coach and motivate employees.
Proven ability to meet deadlines.
Basic understanding of ISO 9001 quality production standards and how they are implemented.
High school education required.
Experience managing a construction crew is a big plus.
Experience using a variety of power tools and in paint spray tools is a big plus.
Excellent math skills.
