Warehouse & Shipping Manager

We are looking for someone who shares our passion for customer service and is flexible to meet the demands of a busy warehouse environment as a Warehouse/Shipping Manager.
RESPONSIBILITES:
Ensure the department meets its targeted departmental goals and take responsibility for ensuring all aspects of the department run smoothly
The warehouse manager is responsible for leading, motivating, coaching, and communicating with team members and handling HR issues within the department.
Supervise all phases of shipping and/or warehouse operations including order pulling, inventory stocking, pick up requests, shipping & delivery schedules with a focus on optimizing Safety, Quality, & On-time Delivery.
Supervise all warehouse personnel, handle department HR issues, & participate in the hiring process.
Responsible for warehouse employee training and evaluations.
Engage in the typical responsibilities of a manager requiring planning, evaluating, organizing, integrating, analyzing, and delegating.
Oversee all aspects of inventory management and cycle counting including maintenance of inventory and product loss control
Ensure that the building is maintained appropriately and is secured on a daily basis.
Participate on management team & prepares reports for quarterly Board of Directors Meetings
Ensures proper procedures are in place and being followed for production efficiency, quality of product, employee safety, and company guidelines.
Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems as they arise.
Lead the warehouse department in LEAN & 5S transformation. Expect to implement rapid change and continuous improvement through hands-on process development, team building and training. Work with your team to identify opportunities, prioritize and implement multiple LEAN projects.
Use LEAN Tools such as 5S, kaizen, Standard Work, Visual Workplace, etc. to lead your team to the new levels of performance
Establish and monitor employees' work schedules to meet needs of business
Collaborate cross-functionally with the management team on innovative projects to support workflow, reduce waste and enhance safety, quality, customer service and production
Qualifications:
High integrity and high energy with a strong, positive attitude
Strong commitment to Quality and Safety
Strong leadership and training skills as evidenced by previous activities or work experience
Ability to manage successfully under the pressure of deadlines and to accept new ways of doing business
The ability to make decisions, problem solve, prioritize assignments and direct the workforce in an ever-changing, warehouse environment.
Strong understanding of inventory control, with the ability to know when to assume the responsibility and when to delegate
Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs; ability to lead others through change.
Experience with LEAN Tools such as 5S, kaizen, Standard Work, Visual Workplace, etc.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and computer-based applications
Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
3-5 years experience in Warehouse Management desired
Experience with Industrial Fasteners, preferred

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
