Concrete Stabilization Technologies, Inc. (CST, Inc.), one of the region's top specialty contractors has an exceptional opportunity at our Salt Lake City location for a Field Technician. This is an entry-level field position, leading to a supervisory and leadership role in our organization.
To be considered for this position, candidates must hold a valid driver's license, be in good physical condition, understand basic mechanical functions, have experience and be adept with tools (drills, saws, pumps, and misc.). Candidates are required to work a varying schedule which can include nights and weekends. Overnight travel may be required depending on project activity, season and labor demand.
The candidate(s) selected for this position will have at least one year experience in construction work, specialty contracting work, or road repair on commercial, industrial or government projects. Those with knowledge and experience in concrete/foundation repair, road rehabilitation, water-proofing, expansive polyurethane, or chemical grout applications are preferred. Experience and familiarity with computers, internet and email is desired.
Most CST projects require our technicians to evaluate and apply best practices in the use of time, materials, and techniques to achieve the desired end result for our customers. So, we require sharp, English-speaking individuals who are able to perform heavy physical labor, are thorough, quality-oriented, self-starting, and always responsible to preserve and enhance company and customer assets. Field technicians start at an hourly rate of $12.00-$14.00 per hour, depending on experience. Annual (or more frequent) pay increases are earned by our technicians, based on performance, not tenure.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
