Fitter/Welder
Job Description
We are looking for skilled welders/fitters/fabricators. Job positioning and wages based on level of experience and skill set. $500.00 Signing bonus after 90 days of committed and qualified work.
Responsibilities
Interpret shop drawing and understand weld symbols
Knowledge of Welding processes SAW, FCAW AND GMAW
Layout and position the fabricated parts per shop drawings
Fabricate using proper weld procedures, maintain quality
workmanship to meet the requirements provided in the drawing specs
Operate overhead cranes and forklift or be willing to complete training
Abide by all safety procedures and guidelines
Maintain clean and safe work area
Qualifications
Capable fabricator with ability to meet quality standards
Welding experience and/or training
Fitting experience and/or training
Able to use hand tools
Motivated and able to work independently
Strong work ethic and attendance habits
Ability/desire to work overtime
Work effectively with coworkers to complete and
expedite projects on schedule.
