Billing & Eligibility Processor

Our ideal candidate has strong data entry skills - fast and accurate typing, comfortable with technology, ability to learn new software programs. A great written and verbal communicator, they will demonstrate professional customer service and make clients feel valued. Experience with insurance, customer service, and/or dental terminology is a plus (but not required).
We are a rapidly-growing company, so with a strong work ethic and consistency, your responsibilities and job position have the potential to grow with you.
The schedule is 8am to 5pm, Monday Friday. No evenings or weekends required. Compensation package includes benefits (health, dental, vision, life, etc.) Starting Wage is $10-$13 per hour, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
Daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Input customer and account data within time limits
- Verify accuracy and policy compliance
- Work directly with agents and customers to compile information for incomplete documents and train on policy compliance
- General customer support primarily via email correspondence, but also by phone
- Report problems to Billing Manager
- Assist team with clerical duties
- Organize and Save data to ensure preservation
- Comply with company policies
- Keep information confidential and HIPAA compliant
Qualifications
- High school diploma; additional computer training will be an asset
- Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.
- Familiarity with administrative duties
- Typing speed and accuracy
- Attention to detail
- Organizational skills, with an ability to work independently and stay on task.
