Job Description
We are looking for an EXPERIENCED LEADER and DYNAMIC individual for our Utah Location.
Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills are essential.
The dealerships Fixed Operations Manager oversees not only the service department but also the front office and parts departments. Lewis Bus Group Fixed Operations Manager is responsible for the reputation, efficiency, and profitability of these departments.
Responsibilities
Preparing an annual operating budget, goals and objectives for each department and monitoring the departments performance.
Directing the hiring and training of managers for the service, parts and body departments.
Working with department managers to improve profitability and efficiency.
Creating and maintaining a positive relationship with customers, ensuring that department staff is helpful, as well as making customer satisfaction a priority to ensure referral and repeat business.
Working directly with customers and warranty clerks to administer warranty claims, as well as understanding and applying warranty guidelines.
Creating dealership service and pricing policies.
Ensuring that service repairs are performed efficiently and correctly by conducting spot checks on jobs.
Understand and keep abreast of the federal, state, and local regulations that affect operations, and comply with these regulations as well as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA Right-to-Know regulations.
Create uniformity by providing the necessary training and guidance to the service department personnel to ensure productivity and allow for a consistent and excellent customer experience.
Assist the Service, and Parts Managers in establishing individual sales goals and training curriculum tailored to each employee.
Builds a winning team by recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, evaluating, motivating, and rewarding Service, and Parts Department Employees.
Establish competitive pay plans to keep personnel committed to customer satisfaction, retail sales, and team goals.
Ensure all department personnel represent the store in a professional manor and are provided with appropriate uniforms to comply with the company dress code.
Cross train others within the department to assume the responsibilities of the manager in the case of absence.
Ensure each employee is trained to the appropriate skill level of their position for the utmost success and manufacturer certification.
All other duties as assigned by the Dealer Principal.
Qualifications
At least 5 years of previous experience as a Service Manager.
Previous experience as a Fixed Operations Director is preferred.
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Master Technician Certification preferred.
Strong leadership and organization skills.
Strong communication skills are required to work with customers, employees and vendors.
Ability to maintain the profitability of service department while controlling expenses and maintaining customer satisfaction.
High school diploma and valid driver s license.
Salary is negotiable based on experience and track record
