Responsibilities
Safely load crude oil from well holding tanks in the Uintah Basin and transport to refineries in the Salt Lake area.
Qualifications
+CERTIFICATIONS Applicant must have a valid Class A CDL, Tank Vehicle endorsement, Hazmat endorsement. Must be able to wear a respirator were required. Drivers assigned to UT must have Doubles certification. Drivers must maintain their certifications in order to stay employed with the company.
EXPERIENCE 2 years verifiable OTR tractor trailer driving experience in the last 5 years. Drivers with less experience may qualify, but must have 0 moving violations, and be approved by the Director of Transportation. Any other exception must be approved by the Director of Transportation.
DUI/DWI None within the last 7 years. No DUI/DWIs in a commercial vehicle.
DRUG/SUBSTANCE TESTS There may be no use of illegal drugs, positive or refused tests in the last 7 years. No use of illegal drugs, positive tests or refused in a commercial vehicle, ever.
MOVING VIOLATIONS Applicant must have no more than 3 MVs in the last 3 years. No serious traffic violations in the last 2 years. Serious traffic violations include: Reckless Driving, Speeding more than 15 over the speed limit, following too closely, failing to obey a traffic control advice, erratic driving or improper lane change, leaving the scene of an accident. Serious traffic violations per 49 CFR 383.51. No citations for Driving While Suspended, Disqualified, or Expired in the last 6 months.
ACCIDENTS There must be no more than 2 at fault accidents in the last 3 years. No major accidents in the last 7 years (greater than 25K).
EQUIPMENT/CARGO THEFT No involvement in any theft of cargo or equipment ever.
EMPLOYMENT Applicant must not have been terminated from last employer for a poor safety record or from more than 1 employer in the last 5 years. No more than 7 jobs in the past 3 years.
PHYSICAL/MEDICAL CONDITION Applicant must be able to perform essential functions of the job, i.e. walking, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting hoses, climbing ladders at loading facilities, must be flexible enough to get in and out of the vehicle, ability to lift and carry weights of 50 100 lbs. Applicants must pass a pre-employment agility evaluation and have a 1 year medical clearance before starting employment with PFJ.
APPEARANCE AND GROOMING All driving associates and candidates for employment must comply with company dress and grooming standards set forth in the PFJ Driver Handbook. Drivers assigned to areas that require respirators must be clean shaven.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
