Printing Press Operator (HP Indigo Web/ Lamination)
Entry level apprentices perform general cleaning and upkeep of the press and its accessories for the purpose of basic lamination training and gaining familiarity with the lamination and press functions.

All employees are expected to maintain a clean safe and efficient work environment.
Target follows SQFAIB and ISO standards.
You will be responsible for daily maintenance cleaning along with basic troubleshooting and repair.
You could also be asked to support other parts of our operations including pouch assistant slitting or any other area.
Must be able to read a job ticket.
Basic math skills ability to compute job requirements footage quantity and such with calculator.
Basic computer understanding you will be entering material and other information into the production software.
In time recognize when routine adjustments are necessary catching errors at the earliest possible stage to minimize production reworks.
Judgement and Decision making common sense.
Mechanical inclination Detail oriented Ability to lift awkward rolls on to press lbs.

Ability to maneuver heavy pallets with pallet jack.
Ability to reach and stay stable while mopping Ability to use both hands Ability to stand for most of a shift Requires crawling in to some tight spots and kneeling as well as climbing ladders The Press is a running piece of equipment that turns at speeds in excess of feet per minute.
During the course of their daily work a pressman will climb bend reach stoop lift and crawl.
It can be physicallydemanding work.
During the course of their shift you are required to lift heavy rollers into and out of the Press rewind system Ability to withstand contact with soaps and chemical cleaners Ability to withstand noise humidity and heat of production environment.
Ability to respond immediately to safety and other signals on machinery.
Train on the fly as requested assist in any duties.
Ability to pass test for color discernment Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and work cooperatively with others K with match Medical Dental and Vision benefits.
