Manufacturing Technician
POSITION OVERVIEW Safely perform specific retread tasks with emphasis toward producing high quality product per Commercial Tire specifications and time standards.
A team player committed to continuous improvement high quality and safety.
Adheres to and supports safe work practices and Commercial Tires safety guidelines and standards.
Assists in the manufacturing of retreading tires.
Maintains high quality workmanship.
Keeps supervisor informed of production problems as they occur.
Performs minor maintenance and repair of specifically assigned equipment keeps work area in safe clean and workable manner.
Safely operate at least assigned machines tools and equipment in the shop which may include but not limited to Skive Extruder Chambers Final Builder Buffer Initial oManager determines areas trained in.
To be trained in areas must be able to meet performance and time standards per bandag.
Other duties as assigned.
Years experience Must pass the CRTAP following days of employment.
High school diploma or equivalent Able to read technical operational manuals Regular attendance and punctuality is required and is an essential job function.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
